Manufacturing Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize assembly manufacturing processes

• Provide manufacturing process input for customers RFQs

• Lead PPAP and Start Of Production (SOP) activities of new products in subordinate departments

• Improve existing production processes

• Sourcing of machines and tooling suppliers

• Prepare equipment and tooling specifications and assure suppliers compliance

• Support engineering development activities from a manufacturing standpoint

• Measure, track and achieve operative and financial project objectives agreed with supervisor

• Supervise and approve the design, set-up and start-up of machines and tools

• Deliver technical solutions within cost, quality and timeliness defined in the project scope

• Cooperate with other areas of the company to ensure proper project implementation

• Coordinate and supervise project documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram)

• Support projects with manufacturing technical data during customer meetings and tech reviews

• Cooperate with R&D Tech Centers and other Katcon locations on global projects, and/or development programs with manufacturing inputs

• Cooperation with diverse company departments to ensure proper project development
