Manufacturing Execution Solution Designer
LOKALIZACJA: Warszawa
The Manufacturing Execution Solution Designer ensures that for every new requirement an optimal functional solution has been identified and the Serialization & Track and Trace Template remains consistent.
 
In the Lean/Agile context functions as Product Owner to communicate the vision and the roadmap to the development team, prioritize the backlog and make sure that the team delivers the solution which provides value to the customer. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Product ownership

  • Drive the evolution of the relevant product(s), where appropriate by delivering through central capabilities (internal team and System Integrator (SI))
  • Explain the customer and business need to the immediate team, and collaborate effectively with them to break down complex pieces of work into smaller deliverable pieces of value; work with the team to write user stories and acceptance tests, provide direction on short-term tasks/near-term priorities
  • Manages successful end-to-end delivery of product iterations, prioritising work and making appropriate trade-offs
  • Communicate progress, proactively manage risks and issues, escalating to the Template Delivery Lead where necessary
  • Collaborate effectively with other product teams, Manufacturing SMEs, Deployment teams, Data and Analytics team and others both within and outside the Programme structure
  • Understand and report progress against agreed outcomes and related success measures
  • Use data to drive analysis of new features / iterations and drive prioritisation of future work 

Design authority & solution assurance

  • Protects the consistency of the template and ensures the existing functionalities are leveraged as much as possible instead of developing new customizations
  • Reviews the functional end to end design to confirm its suitability in regard to business requirements
  • Validates the delivered product to confirm its readiness for UAT

Knowledge, Skills & Experience 

Skills required

  • Degree educated IT professional with business-facing IT experience in a global environment
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with working knowledge of agile practices
  • Strong people skills with ability to communicate, engage, influence and inspire colleagues and stakeholders (including cross functional senior stakeholders, relying on strong leadership skills when outside of the incumbent’s career function)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse processes and data to draw insight, and identify opportunities
  • Proactivity and initiative, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work unsupported
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to recognise the concepts of shared responsibility and effective collaboration
  • Willingness to learn, experiment and collaborate
  • Accountability for the delivery of the backlog
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development and the ability to recognise and celebrate effort and success of colleagues 

Experience

  • A seasoned IT professional with, as a guideline 5 to 7 years’ experience in the field of IT Manufacturing
  • Multinational FMCG (ideally tobacco or pharma) and FTSE-100 experience
  • Knowledge of Serialization solutions, including code provisioning - ideally FSS, Inexto, UID Issuers
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging processes, especially in the context of Track and Trace
  • Experience of product/project management, especially a Prince 2 practitioner with agile work experience
  • Experience of implementing serialization for Tobacco Product Directive or other regulation (e.g. pharma industry) 

Key Success Factors

  • Continual evolution of the relevant product(s), successfully delivering through central capabilities
  • Effective management of the backlog, with clear visibility of how the individual items link to the strategic theme and all relevant information provided to supplier team
  • Consistency of the template is preserved
