Your responsibilities

  • Project Management / X-functional Coordination:

  • Represents Manufacturing community (Operations Excellence & Factory) in NPI projects cross functional core teams

  • Elaborates Manufacturing recommendations based on cross- functional inputs and business scenarios to drive decision making.

  • Owns production system routines (manufacturing alignment staff level)

  • Constantly managing relationships with all stakeholders involved

  • Accountability for timing of NPI project (Gates, Pilots and Ramp Up)

  • Project Leader for Factory Capacity increase, Factory Master Plan projects and Footprint relocation

  • Project KAIs / KPIs Management:

  • Proactively executes the 7-steps and Whirlpool Product Development standard approach to project management, following the progress of the activities for each function involved and highlighting any lesson learned that deserves to be shared in OE

  • Accurate tracking of Project KAIs and KPIs vs Project Manufacturing Objectives

  • Define Mnfg Project Objectives according to WCM / EPM principles

  • Accountability for manufacturing Process Capability

  • NPI Process Capex & Cost Forecast & Management:

  • Own evaluation of Capex, Technical Initial Costs and total conversion costs needs for each project

  • Planning of Capex & Technical Initial Costs

  • Own Business Case evaluation for Factory Master Plan and Capacity increase projects

  • Manage Capex Purchase Order release and tracking

  • Provide consistent and accurate reporting, communicate and manage deviations

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the similar role

  • Engineering degree preference for Industrial Engineering

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and internal logistic flow

  • Strong Knowledge of WCM/Lean manufacturing,

  • Fluent English

  • Preferred skills and experiences

The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

Drive and ensure the execution of all manufacturing processes and activities related to new product (definition and launch) and to footprint projects.

Guarantee operational excellence in Planning and coordination of all the activities related to the introduction of complex new manufacturing processes.
