Baltec Marine Sp. z o.o. is currently looking to add specialists to our expanding team. The person will be responsible for the preparation of projects involving the detailed design process and documentation handling in turn key finish of interior and exterior decks. Wall, Floor, Ceiling, fixed furniture and decoration design and specification – mainly cruiser vessels.
Responsibilities:
- Development of individual interior design projects
- Designing furniture and building elements
- Search and selection of finishing materials, furniture and decorations
- Preparation of detail designs of custom interior elements
- Details development with the shipowner's representative
- Analysis of the scope of work and documentation provided by the client
- Preparation of executive and as-built documentation
- Meetings with suppliers
- Participation in the preparation of cost estimates for new projects
Requirements:
- Higher education, preferably technical: architectural, construction, shipbuilding or experience in the preparation of finishing works and / or interior design
- Knowledge of finishing materials available on the market
- Analytical thinking skills
- Independence, communication, creativity, commitment
- Good organization of work and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions,
- Willingness to travel on business around the world
- Knowledge of AUTO CAD, MS Office
- Very good written and spoken English
Well appreciated if you have:
- Experience in construction or interior renovation work on vessels - in particular passenger ships or ferries
- Knowledge of regulations related to ship equipment - SOLAS, MED
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, (Inventor, Cadmatic, Sketchup)
- Driving license B
