Primary objectives:

  • To own, manage and optimise the onsite experience for the Cloud & Compute journey and digital activities on the German site
  • Responsibilities include working with: the Digital team to develop the onsite experience for C&C buyers; the SEO manager to optimise journey pages to maximise visibility on search engines; the UX designer to create compelling onsite experiences; the Conversion Optimiser to optimise journeys and the Site Strategist to execute through the publishing team

Execution activities:

  • Work with Global team to support the development and roll-out standardised Cloud & Compute journey
  • Manage the overall delivery of journey strategy on our website and associated digital properties (Eloqua landing pages, blogs and sub-domain content)
  • Ownership of all pages that exist within their journey, and their performance and lifecycle status across all EMEAR country sites. Conduct quarterly audit of journey pages and provide guidance on retirement and consolidation
  • Identify personalisation opportunities and work with the Personalization Manager to implement and optimise efforts
  • Ensuring full integration of new launches / campaigns into the existing journey
  • Working closely with the Demand Generation managers to increase conversions on Bofu pages
  • Work with Paid and social media teams to ensure media is directed to the correct landing pages, and ensure continual optimisation of the onsite experience from both paid and earned channels
  • Management and scoping of OVW page refreshes and campaign launches related to their journeys, including staging reviews.
  • Manage creation of reporting dashboards related to their journeys (with I&A team), and work with CRO to identify opportunities for testing and optimisation
  • Execute activity to drive engagement and demand on our website
  • Ensure all pages within journey are fully
  • Search Engine Optimised, working with the SEO Manager and Web Experience Executive to execute SEO insights in a timely manner, including Intent Modelling driven content creation
  • Working closely with the publishing team to ensure efficient roll-out and implementation
  • Ensure journeys are adhering to UX best practices by working with the UX designer


  • Fluent in German and English
  • 3-5 years in a Digital role, ideally focussed on Web Experience
  • Preference for candidates that have good working knowledge of SEO, Experimentation (A/B test ideation) and UX
  • Combine broad digital expertise with stakeholder liaison and project management skills
  • Experience of using content management systems, ideally Enterprise level CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (but not essential)
  • Passionate about executional excellence, but understands how their role fits within the broader strategy and how their work contributes to shaping that strategy
  • Proactive, curious, and takes the initiative to move projects along
  • Experience with using Web Analytics platform to identify issues, and optimisation opportunities
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with keen ability to work across cross-functional business and technical teams in a matrixed environment
