The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s Vision 2020 ambition to become the leading global professional services organization. The opportunity

The candidate will work closely with Leaders across EY, to design and implement solutions to improve and accelerate the delivery of projects and transformation initiatives that increase our people’s understanding and engagement with key programs.

Marketing and Communication Project Manager role serves a dual objective:

  • The opportunity lies in supporting the Talent BMC Program and Project leaders to bring marketing and internal communications projects to life by understanding the business agenda and transform these priorities into world-class execution and delivery.
  • Also, assist the Talent BMC Program and Project leaders across Financial Management, Benefits Management / ROI, Performance / Progress Reporting, etc.

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, relevant and timely content for our people, including material for large group meetings and events, digital channels and social media, and to support execution of firm wide programs
  • Work closely with the marketing and business teams within EY deliver employee communications
  • Develop communications plans for key programs. Manage the execution and delivery of these communications plans both internally and externally.
  • Use storytelling techniques to create compelling communication material
  • Support delivery of specific programs and initiatives through the creation and deployment of communications toolkits for EY team; develop toolkit content including messaging guides and other collateral as required; and provide project based support to deliver these programs successfully.
  • Work effectively with cross location teams to ensure effective and timely implementation of communication programs within EY
  • Measures campaigns and provides insights on market impact and evaluation of ROI
  • Collaborate closely with other team members and colleagues across BMC to align and integrate strategic messages that reflect EY’s most critical priorities; communicate these messages though our most relevant channels. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on brand, marketing, communications and change management issues, trends and long-term implications for EY
  • Be familiar with the SCORE guidelines and able to manage the SCORE process of a project
  • Support and manage live webcasts and be responsible for all preparations prior
  • Support FB replies and ey.com inquiries
  • Understand the procurement and legal processes and support contracts and vendor management
  • Support invoice management, processing and budget monitoring
  • Act as a trusted advisor and single point of contact for all operational processes (budget, reporting, measurement, etc.)
  • Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables; create and implement strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrate broad communications management experience, ideally gained within professional services or in a similar world-class global organization, with strong working knowledge of the professional services sector and commercial awareness
  • Demonstrate first-class communications skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as consulting, listening and interpretation skills
  • Demonstrate meticulous editing skills with very strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality output
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior-level stakeholders and to influence those stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Demonstrate experience working effectively, collaboratively and proactively with colleagues across boundaries (service line and geography)
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance multiple demands and projects successfully, effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
  • Be a creative and innovative thinker with a strong track record of developing credible ideas for content
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a complex, global organization
  • Motivates junior team members through effective monitoring, coaching and providing a positive working environment

What we look for

  • A bachelor's degree
  • 4-7 years’ general experience
     
  • 2-4 years project management experience
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A strategic thinker, initiative taker, flexible, creative and willingness to adapt, influence and challenge are essential
  • Proven ability to inspire others by delivering coaching and direction fostering in a culture of high performing teams
  • Experience with PMOs with project management certification (PRINCE II, PMI and so on)
  • Has a good understanding of IT, HR, Finance functional processes and transformations
  • Technical skills:  advanced knowledge in MS Office
