Providing performance insights that focus on actionability to drive the marketing performance and investment throughout the funnel, as well as to enable robust decision making at both global and local market levels
Owning and driving marketing data forecasting methodology.
In your day-to-day work you will primarily use SQL, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint. This role involves not only working on requests but also contributing to larger team-led projects that require collaboration and a strategic mindset. You will collaborate with the team (the larger part of which is located in London) as well as other teams such as Data Science, Consumer Insight & Strategy, Finance, and Data Engineering. You will also interact with stakeholders of varying seniority and technical skills.

Full English proficiency
2+ years’ work experience on data analyst or similar positions
BS/MS in Maths, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or other disciplines with demonstrated technical exposure
Strong experience with SQL, Python and modeling
A global team player, energised by collaborating and leading across cultures and geographies
Proficiency in using statistical modeling and forecasting connecting marketing performance measures with business objectives would be a strong plus;
Experience using Google Analytics and BigQuery
Demonstrated ability to present analysis in clear ways to communicate complex messages to both technical and non-technical audience, as well as communicate negative and positive information to stakeholders with tactical and strategic recommendations
Foundation knowledge of marketing data analysis techniques and tools, development of performance measurement frameworks, KPIs setting methodologies, segmentation and clustering of audiences

• As a Marketing Data Analyst, you'll receive extensive training on IG's products, markets, processes, and tools. You'll become an expert in IG data that powers insights used to drive marketing and wider business performance in the financial trading industry
