Execute end-to-end strategic sourcing activities as directed by the Procurement leads in accordance with the Procurement policy.
Work closely with stakeholders and business leaders to continuously identify opportunities for the organization within the category.
End-to-end delivery of sourcing projects for clients and commercial management of vendors.
Adherence to Procurement policy and processes, including collaboration with legal, risk management and other support functions.
Act as trusted business advisor to business stakeholders, agreeing procurement projects/pipeline and providing Exceptional Client Service.
Complete procurement diagnostic of external supplier spends in nominated region(s) or country/countries to identify both strategic and tactical procurement opportunities.
Produce recommendations/options for an efficient long-term procurement support model, capturing procurement and supplier spend management activities.
Provide structured and accurate reporting on progress of the function, issues and opportunities during regular meetings.
Identify contractual risk and working with relevant Procurement, other leads and, GCO.
Manage supplier relationships according to Procurement and Independence policies.
Act as a trusted procurement advisor to stakeholders, aligning procurement projects with the business’ pipeline.
Provide Exceptional Customer Services while delivering both brand and quantitative value to the bottom line through cost savings and cost avoidance.
Positively influence Spend Under Management by driving spend to preferred suppliers and proactively managing contract expiry.
Lead complex Request for Proposals including strong commercial negotiations, supporting the team with data analytics, leading vendor evaluations, and shepherding the contractual negotiations.
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Procurement in a collaborative, high-performance environment and a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Marketing Procurement category.
Higher education with business degree or equivalent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Significant Procurement expertise throughout the end-to-end Procurement life cycle.
Negotiation & alignment of supplier terms and pricing with best practice and market conditions.
Strong business acumen in order to drive results and ability to link business needs to sourcing strategies.
Strong analytical skills converting data into decision-quality information and using it strategically to drive successful outcomes.
Respect for others and a desire to work as a team with stakeholders and the Procurement team.
Assertiveness in sharing ideas, clear and concise, and seek to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholder audiences.
Project management skills.
