Your responsibilities
Develop expertise with Ecolab’s Master Data Management toolset
Develop understanding of Ecolab business models and systems blueprint
Provides input on system development and testing in accordance with business standards
Collaborate with development team to provide problem resolution and business diagnostics on complex system/data issues
Support business teams by understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements for process or product development in order to solve for Master Data related business problems
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Become subject matter expert of the end-to-end processes and capabilities of MDM for at least one data domain
Support key Ecolab projects and initiatives that are reliant on master data and MDM expertise
Work within a scrum framework to define acceptance criteria for new enhancements and needed configurations and help with prioritization of the backlog based on business needs
Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing on new and existing functionalities to ensure smooth delivery and user experience in the production environment
Our requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification
4+ years of professional work experience
2+ years of experience in a business environment performing analysis, requirements gathering and problem-solving
1+ years of customer or product master data experience
Proficiency in MS Office suite with intermediate to advanced Excel
Able to articulate business requirements and bridge the gap with development teams and stakeholders
Ability to work independently while being inquisitive and seeking to understand a new skills and products
Effectively prioritize and adjusts projects and tasks to meet changing business needs, dynamic working environment and customer's expectations
Prepares written materials to meet purpose and audience
Experience with SQL, SAP, CRM with Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.com will be an asset
Possesses strong attention to detail and understands project cycle phases
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills

As a Master Data Analyst on the Master Data Management (MDM) IT team, you will be part of a global team working to define, design and enhance a global MDM solution that meets the strategic goals of Ecolab’s business units and customers reliant on consolidated master data. You would be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, consulting on the design and build of processes and product enhancements and testing of Ecolab’s global MDM tool in the customer, product and/or sales organization domains.
