Bear overall responsibility for governance, guidance and standards related to master data management.
Develop a best practice master data governance structure and ensure clear accountability and ownership for stewardship of critical assets.
Oversee creation of processes and protocols for managing data systems that are communicated across the organization.
Govern application of data governance processes in line with established structures for data management.
Support development of connected ecosystem that establishes a Single Source of Truth.
Ensure that accountabilities and responsibilities around data management are fulfilled.
Identify opportunities to streamline data architecture.
Maintain inventory of enterprise data maps, including systems and data owners
Facilitate the development of data controls and standards in line with governance structure to ensure data security and integrity
Define performance and quality metrics surrounding data management
Ensure compliance with data-related policies, including compliance with legal standards
Escalate and aid in resolving critical data quality or integrity issues
Ensure data lifecycle support, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement or remediation
University degree (Bachelor or advanced degree in information technology, business administration, data management, or related field).
10+ years hands on experience with multiple data technologies and processes such as master data management, data architecture, data integration and data quality.
5+ years direct experience in SAP master data management and data consolidation (Business Intelligence and/or Master Data Management).
Successful implementation of data or process harmonization projects.
Full business proficiency in English and Polish language.
Expertise in information management practices including information lifecycle management and master data management.
Ability to understand and analyze existing data architecture and interconnections.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Project Management and Change Management skills.
Extensive knowledge of master data structures and business processes (Certifications or membership of an association is a plus)
Work experience in an international and virtual environment
