    Volvo Poland Industry, Material Control Department is looking for candidates for a position of: 


    Material Control Manager


    Responsibilities:

    • Production material availability assurance at optimal cost level
    • Management of the team, work supervision and performance monitoring
    • Efficient assurance of the process and service organization:
    • Material delivery planning according to production requirements
    • Corrective action in case of material shortage risk
    • Supplier relationship management
    • Supplier adherence to logistics requirements
    • Timely execution of financial liabilities to suppliers
    • Stock value optimization by adjusting parts logistics parameters
    • Assurance of proper information and documents flow
    • Supervision of proper cooperation with other departments
    • Prevention and correction of nonconformities

     

    Requirements:

    • University degree (logistics profile preferable)
    • At least 2 years of experience within the area of logistics and on the managerial position in the production unit
    • Knowledge of the Supply Chain processes in the production company; deep understanding of product change, production planning and technological processes impact on area of responsibilities
    • Knowledge of suppliers market and methods of suppliers assessment and development
    • Experience in managing team of experts
    • Experience in using Lean Manufacturing tools
    • High communication and interpersonal skills
    • Analytical skills and ability to make independent decisions
    • Open for changes and new challenges
    • Able to work under pressure of time and accumulation of tasks
    • Knowledge of SAP – logistics module
    • Good knowledge of English (min. on the level of B2)
