Covering supply chain operations facilities in both hardware and chemical products we’re also the hub for our EMEA Shared Service Centre for a number of our support functions such as Sourcing, Supply Chain management, Quality and HR. Currently we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Material Controller with French
Miejsce pracy: Wrocław

Role summary:

 

A person on this position will be working closely with vendors based in France.
 
Material Controller will be mainly responsible for securing the supply of parts in a timely and cost-efficient manner to satisfy customer service, specified inventory and quality levels.
 
Moreover, it is the first point of contact for resolution of issues to ensure continual flow of material into the business. Material Controller will also communicate the status of materials within the total supply chain to the wider business.
 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing a day to day relationship with the vendors.
  • Resolving delivery performance issues and influencing a delivery to meet customer demand.
  • Reporting supplier performance internally according to the company's procedures.
  • Providing data input into business reviews.
  • Analysing and managing supplier arrears through working effectively with the supply base to meet customer requirements.
  • Providing Customer Relationship Leads with delivery details.
  • Participate in improvement activities at department/company level to achieve a higher business performance.

Required Skills:

  • Graduate or master’s degree (for example: Production Planning, Logistics or related studies).
  • Experience of managing day-to-day relationship with vendors - will be an asset.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Fluent English
  • Fluent French
  • Experience in the international environment.
