Your responsibilities
Customer demand revision and planning purchasing in accordance to demand;
Control of ordering process for raw materials to ensure on time deliveries;
Creating weekly purchase schedules;
Managing suppliers’ relationships, negotiating terms of delivery and dealing with complaints;
Inventory management according to assigned budget;
Obsolescence stock limitation and safety stock revision;
KPI’s monitoring;
Coordination master data maintaining for raw materials in SAP;
Participating in new products implementation projects;
Escalating all potential delivery issues, which may have impact on production efficiency and customer satisfaction;
Close cooperation with other stakeholders to organize their work in efficient and productive way, especially with customer service, production and planning;
Constantly work towards creating and maintaining purchasing standards as well as look for the ways to improve and streamline purchasing activities.
Our requirements
Higher education in Logistics or Economics;
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Material Planning or Purchasing;
Knowledge of import procedures outside of EU;
Experience in managing stock levels and negotiation with suppliers;
Skills and knowledge in SAP purchasing applications;
Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point);
Fluent English knowledge (written and spoken);
Fluent Polish knowledge (communicative).
Accuracy, analytical and organizational skills;
Good communication skills and team player;
Strong planning and problem solving skills;
Readiness to make rare business trips;
Ability to perform in an intense, fast paced and complex working environment;

For our manufacturing facility in Gliwice we are actively recruiting for the Material Planner to join JMPL Supply Chain Team. Reporting to JMPL Planning Supervisor, the key purpose of this role will be ordering and on time delivery of raw materials as well as stock levels management within the given target and obsolescence risk limitation.
