Material Planning Leader/ Lider Planowania Materiałowego

Your responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4-5 employees, providing mentorship, coordinating workload, steering, and perform feedback

• Monitor and determine individual metrics and drive team to achieve sourcing targets

• Provide weekly team status reporting, escalate to management when necessary and drive continuous improvement actions

• Act as a primary point of escalation and working with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to solve material issues (shortages, emergency customer demands, etc.)

• Select suppliers based technical and commercial requirements, negotiate order and payment terms and develop robust supplier management processes

• Perform regular cost/price analysis for suppliers and selected BOM items

• Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, engineering approvals etc. to ensure material supply on time and delivery schedule to the customer

• Anticipate and solve material shortages and upcoming delays based on outcome of weekly SIOP meetings

• Determine required material needs, generate according purchase orders and manage inventory issues, schedule changes, postponements, cancellations

• Ensure the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for customer and production

• Set up performance related KPIs and standard reports

• Review and optimize proactively ERP planning parameters and order strategies of suppliers and material items (i.e., lead times, lot sizes, order quantities, safety stock)

• Collaborate with IT to test and conduct changes and updates in the ERP system
