Your responsibilities
The purpose of Material Planning & Procurement Specialist is to ensure a smooth and cost-effective flow of goods between internal and external parties involved in the supply chain process.
The role is available from 1st of June 2021.
Responsibilities:
• Manages flow of goods at optimal efficiency
• Responsible for planning and implementing methods to increase the potential of cost savings
• Responsible for managing stock: BBD & inbound transportation, incl. load building, transport capacity and inbound balancing
• Generates, verifies and analyses forecasts
• Performs systematic inventory management and ensures FIFO in terms of inventory controlling
• Liaises with suppliers and Distribution Centre on BBD
• Steers transfers between Distribution Centers
• Acts as a central contact person of HAVI Supply Chain to suppliers (e.g. exchanges planning figures/ forecasts)
• Manages purchase orders
• Delivers reports to reconcile incoming goods and placed orders
• Participates in the search for alternative sources of supply
• Accountable for processing inbound and outbound claims with suppliers
• Ensures that the quality of services meets internal and external customer requirements
• Pro-actively identifies potential issues and finds solutions to avoid them
• Finds solutions for incidences and liaises with other internal stakeholders to implement them
• Liaises with country Promotions team for supply of promotional articles (adjust load building according to promotions needs)
• Liaises with Customer Service on claims
Our requirements
Min. 2 years of experience in the relevant area of expertise
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English (min. B2 level)
Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP system is a must
University degree in Business/Supply Chain or equivalent experience is an asset
Can do attitude with ability to work as a team member, but also act independently
