For our Client - an international SSC company with a stable position in the market, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Material Planner Team Leader. The role is focused on leading projects to improve service, reduce and avoid the cost and optimize inventory levels together with a leading team of 8 persons in Material Planning and Intercompany Customer Service.

your tasks
- lead a team of Material Planners and Intercompany Customer Service specialists and develop continuously team skills and maturity, as well as ensure teamwork within and with other areas,
- •support team members in operational topics, ensuring implementation of standards and processes improvement,
- manage projects to improve and reach area targets related to Service improvement, Inventory Optimization, and Excess & Obsolete reduction/avoidance,
- ensure to keep on track leading and lagging indicators via problem-solving approach, using 5WHY/TPM techniques,
- daily cooperation with key copackers together with leading operational meeting with them to ensure capacity availability, service level, production prioritization, and optimization/improvement projects,
- ensure keep informed stakeholder about supply status, via set or reports and information timely communicated,
- order processing, timely follow up of incoming material, delivery coordination, co-ordination with AP for payment issues,
- liaison with demand and supply planner, warehouse, logistics, customer service & other internal teams,
- daily check of MRP requirements and order statuses to ensure delivery dates are achieved,
- updating order delivery date to accurately reflect confirmed delivery date,
- accurately and timely maintaining process and control data information in the system. No escalations. The quick reaction to requests.
what we expect
- fluent English language skills (minimum B2 level with advanced vocabulary),
- Bachelor’s degree (Technical, Logistics, Economics is an advantage)
- 5-years work experience in Purchasing or Planning is a must, as well as people and project management experience,
- experience with SAP (MM) or other Information Systems/Data Warehouses,
- very good knowledge of MS Office,
- good analytical, reporting skills and proactive approach to problem-solving,
- perseverance and self-reliability,
- solid communication and cooperation skills,
- attention to details, high quality of work,
- APICS certification is a strong plus.
