Your responsibilities
- Work with a diverse team to design, develop and deliver servo motor products for new product development.
- Participant in motor prototype build.
- Participant/Lead in prototype validation testing and product qualification testing with respect to schedule and problem resolution for assigned programs.
- Work with engineering service team to ensure robust manufacturable design for all aspects of motor manufacturing.
- Work with outside vendors to create motor designs that meet the product requirements leading to business success.
- Conduct design reviews and peer reviews as needed to ensure that the products meet the intended design specifications.
- Assess products and processes for their ability to meet customer requirements including capability, reliability, and robustness.
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering Disciplines.
- 2 years of mechanical design experience.
Optional
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering Discipline.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation application including motion applications.
- Knowledge of servo motors and machinery.
- Knowledge of linear actuators, bearings, and parking brakes.
- Familiarity with principles of Design for Six Sigma and comfortable working with statistics.
- Experience with Thermal and Structural modeling tools such as ANSYS.
- Experience working with certifying bodies such as UL, CSA, TUV, etc.#LI-AW2.
- Experience in Creo, Windchill.

Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Hardware) to Motion Control Business.
We offer servo drives, servo motors and actuators to provide simplified machine design to provide more system flexibility and improve overall performance. We also provide a new approach to linear motors by using magnets instead of gear/chains and belts to allow for precise motion control with frictionless propulsion. The use of magnets results in reduced downtime and maintenance, decreased energy consumption and improved the ability to change machine profiles.
