    Our office in Wrocław is currently looking for:
    Mechanical-Mechatronic Engineer

    Diehl is looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to serve as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. In your role as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee projects from concept ideation through component/system design and development to final production. To aid you in your role as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be provided with cutting-edge work management tools and expert guidance to help you to successfully deliver on Simultaneous Engineering Projects.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Creating mechanical/mechatronic part and assembly designs using 3D CAD tools (especially of plastics) in collaboration with the Project Management, Suppliers and other Departments;
    • Defining and managing project schedules, resource planning and key milestone deliverables (including potential scheduling conflicts and delays) and coordinating work activities among internal and external team members;
    • Contact with suppliers and manufacturers of mechanical parts (e.g. Injection moulder, mould makers).


    • Technical university degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering degree (or a related design engineering field);
    • Min. 2 years experience in designing products (esp. plastic parts, mechatronic parts);
    • Knowledge of CAD programs to design mechanical parts (preferable NX, PTC Creo, SolidWorks);
    • Strong analytical, organizational and communicational skills as well as the ability and commitment to produce highly accurate work on a tight schedule;
    • Experience in DFM, D- FMEA and other development techniques;
    • Good English skills (spoken and written).
    Additional advantages:
    • Knowledge of global deployment and distribution of the product;
    • Experience with electronic control devices, optics and touch technologies;
    • Knowledge of German;
    • 2+ years of experience leading product development projects in a team environment.
