    Mechanical Product Engineer (Core)
    • Understand customer requirements and interface to customer to define requirements
    • Responsible for drawings release, order prototypes, perform testing and coordinate validation
    • Responsible for DFMEA and DSS preparation for assigned components
    • Improve cost, function, performance of assigned components
    • Explain product design for best method of manufacture, propose changes to improve product and design manufacturability
    • Initiate and support continuous improvement, cost improvement and problem solving activities related to design
    • Interface with technical centers, customers and suppliers for engineering changes
    • Provide product expertise to support manufacturing for appropriate products
    • Engineering degree (MAJOR: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING)
    • 3 or more years of experience in engineering field
    • Basic understanding and experience with DFMEA, DSS, GD&T, PLM, Engineering Stacks
    • Experience with CAD/CAE software (Solid Edge, NX, AutoCAD)
    • Good understanding of mechanics
    • Interest in product design, particularly automotive
    • Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
    • Six Sigma certification or Design for Six Sigma (preferred)
    • Previous experience with product design (preferred)
    • Demonstrate outstanding verbal, written and visual communication skills.
    • Ability to set priorities, and manage multiple projects among several cross functional teams simultaneously
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to travel internationally several times per year
