Your responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to carry out analysis of English and Dutch press articles and social media coverage. The analyst will read articles and social media posts, tag them for multiple metrics, and summarise them.
Additional tasks may include: writing English language summaries of Dutch coverage, building Boolean search queries, reviewing social media monitoring setups.
The analyst will be part of multiple project teams providing analysis services for global brands
Deadlines on different projects range from bi-weekly to daily. Work allocation system ensures analysts know their deadlines for a month in advance.
Career paths: Analysts can progress into management support role of Lead Analyst, which in turn can then lead to a Project Manager position. Alternatively, analysts with excellent writing and data interpretation skills can become Report Writers.
Our requirements
Very good knowledge of English and Dutch (C1)
Experience in using MS Excel data tools (working with large data sets, using filters and pivot tables)
The analyst needs to have a working Windows PC with MS Office 2010 or newer (we do not work with Macs) and a fast, stable internet connection fast enough for stable video conferencing
Ability to stay connected and communicate efficiently across multiple online platforms (emails, Microsoft Teams, project management software)
Proven interest in media culture
Analytical skills
Ability to plan own work independently to meet deadlines
Optional
Knowledge of additional foreign languages, particularly German, Spanish, Mandarin, or Japanese
Familiarity with PR, media measurement, social media analysis
Detailed knowledge about specific business sectors, e.g. finance, retail, automotive, telecoms, pharma
Report writing skills

Terms and conditions of the contract:
The analyst will be obliged to work 5 hours per working day (unless off sick or on holiday)
Overtime is paid and voluntary
More flexible arrangement with smaller number of hours may also be possible
At least 3 hours of work have to be done between 7am and 6pm UK time
Work will be done remotely (from home)
Employment form: B2B contract (indywidualna działalność gospodarcza in Poland) with 1 month notice period
Gross monthly pay: 5,000 zł + bonus based on amount of work done
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to perform a short sample analysis task, if successful, this will be followed by an Zoom interview and a longer, paid trial task.
