    Based in Wroclaw the Manager Medical Affairs will manage medical and scientific affairs activities in Infection and Immune Diagnostics. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs. Responsibilities include the support of launch readiness and post-launch market penetration of QIAGEN product lines, with additional responsibilities supporting global medical affairs and corporate goals. Primary responsibilities of the position:

    • Represent medical and scientific affairs in development teams.
    • Provide medical and scientific input into product Risk assessments.
    • Identify Key Opinion Leaders in medical and scientific affairs and engage with them to establish sounding boards.
    • Review Development documentation for accuracy of medical and scientific content.
    • Review Marketing material for accuracy of medical and scientific content.
    • Review of clinical data alongside Key Opinion Leaders to establish publication strategy.
    • Identify clinical trials sites and establish contracts and budgets.
    • Review and summarize data, support the preparation of health technology assessment and Health Economic and Outcomes research reports.
    • Report back to QIAGEN through appropriate channels important market trends and competitive position.

    Position Requirements

    • PhD, PharmD or DO is required. Academic background in Infection and Immune Diagnostic.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the biotechnology industry.
    • Background consisting of diverse roles in medical and scientific affairs.
    • Able to work with diverse teams on a regional and national level to implement objectives.
    • Demonstrate the ability to understand to process and share complex scientific material in presentations and discussions.
    • Can handle multiple assignments in a fast paced environment.
    • Show independence.

    • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills.
    • Able to communicate technical concepts both verbally and written with clarity and accuracy.
