About the project

M365 Specialist ensures efficient and high quality administration and support for digital workplaces and devices in decentralized IT infrastructure on the basis of a defined and agreed catalogue of products and services.

Provides End-user support and training for hardware and software and collaborates with the IT Manager to ensure operational security, Maintenance and Governance. Provides resolutions for reported issues, recognizes problems, and works on proactive and maintenance tasks, focusing on the support and administration of our M365 and SharePoint solution.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT support, ideally working close with business operations and thriving in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

Your responsibilities

  • Administration, support and configuration of MS Office O365.

  • Ensuring the operational health of the SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability

  • New user setup and orientation including installing and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, network printing, etc.

  • Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.

  • Maintenance/sustainment of existing client SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items)

  • Track, prioritize and document requests via CRM tool.

  • Maintain and service assets for tracking and auditing.

  • Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Skype, OneNote, Outlook etc.)

  • Support of preparation of Capital Project Implementation Plans for corporate committee review and approval.

  • Out-of-area travel to attend training and user groups, or as necessary. (secondary)

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Our requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar programs; or comparable qualifications/certifications with practical experience.

  • At least 2 years of professional IT experience with Microsoft technologies

  • Experience in a support role - 1st - 3rd line technical abilities

  • Experienced with a range of Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint, Teams, One Drive, Exchange Online, Outlook)

  • Min. +2 years of industry experience working with 365 design, support and management.

  • Strong technical skills working with Microsoft Technologies including planning, migration, supporting O365 and Mobile Device Management

  • Help desk experience and ability to provide technical and end-user support.

  • Skilled within PowerShell Scripting

  • Strong on-premise infrastructure knowledge and the use of virtualisation tools

  • Advanced 365 / Azure AD Configuration and management including Intune & AutoPilot, Single Sign On, MFA, conditional access rules, security and compliance

  • Experience in or exposure to a client facing role

  • With solid Infrastructure background, strong understanding of servers, Active Directory or AD, and the like

  • Mid to senior-level experience and knowledge in computer hardware and operating systems.

  • Extensive understanding of Networking protocols and devices.

  • Experience with applications development environment and database support.

  • Willing to travel internationally as business needs dictate

  • Good communication skills (both written and oral) in English.
