About the project

This role will be based in the Wilanów Warsaw office working closely with the team there, but also cooperating with the management and the team in the ZONITH’s headquarter which is located in Copenhagen/Denmark.

Android Mobile App:

Your responsibilities

  • you will be working on our Native android App fully written in Java, (more info: https://zonith.com/zonith-app/)

  • develop and maintain Zonith’s Android (knowledge of iOS additionally would be a great adventage),

  • participate in all aspects of designing, implementing and producing the mobile app that the staff members use to be protected,

  • the mobile app use the power of smartphones to their limits – and you will be challenged technically in implementing the mobile apps so that they are stable and robust as they save human lives,

  • an important part of a team member in ZONITH is to take responsibility and actively be part of designing the whole solutions and not just the mobile apps,

  • in Warsaw, our team consists of only 5 people, the position in which you will work will require full independence and excellent work organization.

Our requirements

ZONITH A/S is looking for a high professional Mobile App Developer, that would like to be a part of our growing team in Warsaw. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 4 years of experience in creating Apps for Android and with a deep interest in IT.

We appreciate:

• if you hold a degree in Computer Science, software engineering or similar

• team player skills that values responsibility and honesty

• have documented experience in designing and developing mobile apps on Android

• enjoy technical challenges and have deep interest for IT

• have excellent communication skills in English, written and oral

• have Self-sufficiency and ability to self organise

• willingness to learn new technologies

• willing to test software and hardware

• ready to automate day to day processes

• very good general computer knowledge

• very good knowledge of Windows operating systems

• good knowledge of computer networks

• good knowledge of Android mobile operating system

• good knowledge of computer hardware

• knowledge of server administration (Postgres, Tomcat)

• knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, Raspbian)

• practical usage of virtualization software (VMWare, VirtualBox)

• basic knowledge of shell scripting

• basic knowledge of Windows batch or PowerShell scripting

• basic experience with installing and configuring server software and hardware
