We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals to join our newly created team in Poland and be part of the Global Middleware Production team within CIB IT PRODUCTION.

The administrators of Middleware MQ will be responsible to offer the required performance for a very demanding service with critical applications and dataflow dependent on it. As part of this role, you have to ensure a high availability environment for these services, considered as critical for the business.

Your responsibilities

MQ Software Product installation (configuration, packages, upgrades, fixpacks, maintenance, etc.)
MQ flows creation (MQ objects definition, etc.)
SSL knowledge (architecture, certs renewal procedure, etc.)
Pub/Sub topology and configuration
Troubleshooting in MQ (Clients MQ, support DEV teams, etc.)
BlockIP config (whitelisting)
Plan and implement PROD changes and interventions
Be part of the on-call support service 24x7
Use of MQ remote admin tools (i.e: Appwatch, MVMA, MQExplorer, etc.)
Usage and configuration of QPASA monitoring tool (BMC)
Solace technology basics
Developing new automations using Ansible (or other scripting language)

Our requirements

5+ years of experience
IBM MQ administration experience
Expertise on high availability environments and Linux/Windows environments (advanced user skills. Not admin skills are needed)
Strong global Infrastructure knowledge ( Clustering, Storage, Network, OS, …)
Automation (scripting capabilities) and Ansible (or similar) knowledge
Nice-to-have: devops methodologies knowledge and cloud experience
Costumer service orientated, team player, eager to learn, analytical mind-set
Openes for punctual travels to Madrid & Paris
Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines in production environment and support
