Service Delivery Operations is the IT operations team of Centralized Managed and Support Operations organization. Provide architectural guidance during the development cycle, ensuring the infrastructure and software is optimized for the business requirements provided by the service strategy and offer management organization
Optimize the infrastructure architecture to ensure that it meets the business requirements as well as aligns with the delivery models and strategy. The architecture strategy must ensure that external system integrations are feasible and can be supported across the delivery models.
Familiarity with High Availability and Disaster Recovery architecture methods for web based portals. Be prepared to provide guidance to the development and strategy teams to make sure the portal systems are highly geo-resilient.
The portal is the forefront of our customer experience. As such, it must be a secure platform to deliver that experience to our customers. The candidate should have experience in developing secure application architectures with industry leading methodologies
Work closely with the strategy team to translate business requirements into technical requirements that are deliverable within the scope of operations.
Provide technical leadership for transition from development to operations working with the Service Transition organization as needed.
Have a thorough understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management concepts
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the position requires communications to many internal organizations within Motorola.
Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel and team members.
Bachelors Degree in IT or CS OR equivalent years of experience with IT Service Management Systems
3+ years experience working with agile based development teams as a technical leader.
Prior experience with using or managing Remedy or another ITSM tools.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
