National Filed Sales Manager

Location: Warszawa  

The job of ‘National Field Sales Manager is critical in Sales Execution Team. This person will be responsible for making sure we follow company’s “perfect execution” strategy in stores, helping us grow competitively. The job entails, team leadership of 100 plus team members. Being one of the ‘key jobs’ in Execution Team it requires strong leadership skills & strategic thinking with so much required attention to details and perfect in store execution focus in the DNA.



  • To own full accountability of sales execution strategy in region, for both modern and proximity channel for Unilever Poland FOOD/BPC/HC and IC
  • To lead the team of Field Execution MT and Proxy and help to build their skills and capabilities inspiring them to win each day
  • To lead the development of new channels with the team, so that we recruit and hunt new stores for business expansion every year – maximising efficiency of Unilever coverage
  • To work with Marketing, Trade Marketing and CatMan teams, to develop in-store solutions to recruit more consumers to our brands (maximising penetration of our brands)
  • To lead implementation of redesigned Perfect Store Program
  • To leverage technology and data in the in-store execution
  • To be accountable for budgets and efficiency of investments

  • Ability to influence, manage multiple stake holders and external trade partners
  • Strong negotiation skills, someone who is persistent and enjoys pushing the boundaries
  • Great planning skills & good understanding of prioritizing task for his large teams
  • Ability to understand & articulate right execution KPI’s, bring rigour to deliver great execution every day
  • Data driven and analytical mindset, comfortable to work with numbers and get actionable insight to drive them in his team and use them effectively with finance & marketing – Concepts of ROI/ cost optimization and P&L
  • Good understanding of Polish changing retail environment and seeking opportunities to grow every day
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office and super comfortable with excel & presentations
  • Great communication skills, ability to make an impact but at the same time inspire the teams

Desired experience

  • A minimum experience of 2 years in the Field Teams leadership roles for Consumer Goods busines
  • Experience in managing complex teams of more than 4 direct reports and at least 30 people plus, including Managers
