About the project
The Person who will be employed on this position will be responsible to configure & maintain the Navision ERP System in various locations in Europe and Asia Pacific. The Navision Business Analyst will be work closely with process owners, Business Process Engineers, Business Analysts of related systems & modules as well as other stakeholders on design, implementation & maintenance of the Navision System.
Your responsibilities
Understand business requirements and analyse relevant processes in Finance, Sales, Logistics, Procurement and Production.
Support the upgrade of Navision System to Business Central
Configure the system as agreed with other Stake holders
Compile specifications for development and technical implementation (e.g. reports, forms, interfaces & integration etc.)
Document functionality, create application manuals and develop training materials
Organize and perform User Trainings in cooperation with key-users and process engineers as applicable
Support the creation of Business Cases, participate feasibility studies or PoC’s, prepare work effort estimates for business requests, software change requests, system enhancements or projects
Our requirements
Degree in an IT related discipline e.g. Informatics, Business and Information Technology or equivalent
Excellent understanding of the Navision architecture as well as SQL Skills
Experience with Microsoft Business Central
Experience with Supply Chain Processes preferably in the Automotive Sector
In-depth understanding of the application development lifecycle – particular in functional analysis & design, software development, software test, deployment to production as well as maintenance & support
Well versed on the complexity of integrated systems
Experience in solution design for complex requirements/issues and implementation of the solution in the system
Strong English language skills
Optional
Solid communications skills required to interact with both IT resources as well as business users
Ability to moderate and explain complex topics in the assigned expertise area throughout project life-cycle
Ability to identify pain points / weaknesses and to propose amendments to existing application processes
Interest in supporting international community
Must be able to lead, design, implement and coordinate work that requires cross-functional collaboration (within and outside Navision)
