Your responsibilities

  • Design and development of backend services using .Net and Azure technologies

  • Participation in the process of development, from design to deployment and monitoring

  • High quality standard of code: unit tests, code reviews, best practices

  • DevOps activities

  • Mentoring junior developers

  • Sharing knowledge with other team members to eliminate Single Points of Failure

Our requirements

  • English at minimum B2 level is a must

  • Personal passion for software design and development

  • Knowledge of: C#, .Net Core, Azure Services (Storage Tables, Storage Queues, Functions, etc)

  • Some experience in SCRUM

  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, git (Ideally with use of Azure)

  • Dedicated adherence to project goals and deadlines

  • Ability to work well in a fast pace environment and as part of a team

About Us

We are building new team that will be responsible for software development based on cloud services.

A Norwegian company – NAVTOR – is the most recognizable brand in commercial maritime e-Navigation business. The history of Navtor reaches ’80. During that time we have developed number of products which support sailors in their day to day navigation activities. From distribution of electronical charts, through passage planning up to Fleet management duties. Navtor products successfully support the business.

As a team we will be responsible for number of modules for various products from the family. The development will be heavily based on Azure and .Net Core. We will either develop new modules and rewrite existing to modularize applications and move them to the cloud.

If you are passioned about cloud development then we believe the job is right for you. We are looking for Mid – Senior .Net Core developers with good Azure experience.
