Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the availability, reliability, performance and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure
- Supports network and security related initiatives as it relates to the enterprise.
- Support enterprise IP Network Infrastructure as designed and implemented.
- Support internal networks growth through ongoing evaluation, tuning and enhancements.
- Monitors network health, security and performance. Takes corrective actions as necessary
- Provide design, development, testing and deployment of network security products and solutions.
- Support EVO and its subsidiaries’ Technology Services entitieswith regards to network services and related architectures as required.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and supporting network management systems.
- Test and evaluate current and new network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
- Develop support documentation and procedures to be transferred to network support personnel.
- Interface with customers both internal and external to the company, also vendors in researching and evaluating new technology.
- Specify orders, receives, configures, and implement equipment.
- Interpret statistics and other gathered data to size current network and determine problem areas.
- Installs telecommunications equipment and provides support for handsets, voicemail and telecommunications related technology.
- Participate in any/all training and educational activitiesnecessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements specified in the department goals.
- Adhere to privacy; confidential,proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
- Practiceand comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA)
Our requirements
- 2 years of networking experience (in banking or finance industry; credit card processing preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science generally preferred. MCSE, CCNA or equivalent certification a plus.
- Must possess a demonstrable working knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, network monitoring tools, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP.
- Strong MPLS experience in a large scale complex enterprise networking environment.
- Experience with Cisco product line required, ACI experience a plus.
- Experience with Avaya Call Manger and IP Office a plus.
- English (at least B2) and Polish (at least C1)
