Network Data Admin Project Manager
Location: Warsaw

You will be a part of a high volume project to implement additional connectivity in order to provide Drop Copy capability when connecting to Market venues. This necessitates co-ordination and implementation of connectivity to a multitude of trading venues using circuits independent of BAU order entry connectivity.   A resource is required to co-ordinate ordering and implementation of the independent circuits and track the overall status for reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with the businesses to gather requirements for the Drop Copy Project
  • Host Kick off calls with carriers, the business and network teams to solidify tech requirements
  • Directly engage with vendors to request quotes, place orders and gather technical completion details
  • Co-ordinate implementation calls with businesses, Venues and carriers
  • Open required Change controls to network and firewall teams and seek approvals
  • Co-ordinate testing with the business when all changes are complete
  • Ensuring TEM inventory is up to date with financial details, circuit details and Cost code allocations
  • Update internal operational circuit inventory
  • Engage overall network and telecom teams for more complex implementations and assist in implementations
  • Update overall project tracking for the business with status, timelines and issues

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Good understanding and knowledge of carriers and circuit types
  • Knowledge of cross-connects, Extranets and Co-Lo environments
  • Good understanding of service delivery
  • Good understanding of customer groups and their needs
  • Experience of working in a heavily controls-focused environment
  • Experience of working in a culturally diverse environment

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Customer-orientated
  • Proactive, ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions
