Your responsibilities
- Provide support for Fujitsu customers, cooperate with on-site support and account teams
- Taking ownership of incidents and escalations from 2nd level team
- Involvement in small to medium sized projects with supervision from network architect
- Mentoring of 2nd level engineers, as well as sharing knowledge in the team
- Proposing service improvements and making recommendations based on best practicies and experience
- Producing and presenting reports using available tools
- Escalating issues to vendor support or Service Delivery Manager when required
- Working closely with Service Delivery Manager to ensure high quality of service is provided
- Cooperate with other technical teams within organization to ensure smooth operation
- Providing analysis of logs and other output from network devices as nedeed
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation
Our requirements
- At least 1 year of proven commercial networking experience
- CCNP level of knowledge
- Good working knowledge of networking technologies, e.g. LAN, WAN, WiFi, SD WAN, Load balancers
- Good working knowledge of networking hardware, especially from the Cisco Catalyst family, e.g. Cisco 29xx, 35xx, 37xx, 38xx Cisco 26xx routers, 6500 switches, Cisco Nexus family, Cisco SDWAN solutions, Citrix Netscaler, Aruba WiFi
- Ability to work with the team or on your own with little or no supervision
Optional
- Good, hands on knowledge of CISCO ACI solution
- Creating/updating network diagrams (Visio)
- Knowledge of Brocade products (access, distribution and core)
- Basic working knowledge of Firewalls (Cisco ASA) and RSA, VPN.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- IPAM
