Network Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Remote troubleshooting, configuration and analysis of multi-vendor IP & VoIP equipment (Cisco, Juniper, OneAccess, Huawei);
  • Dealing with different network technologies, from the likes of DSL, Ethernet, Fiber, and LTE;
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of a wide range of Routing and Switching, BGP, MPLS, L2TP, IPsec, QoS, loadblancing and redundancy solutions;
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of a wide range of Voice solutions (All-IP, VoIP, SIP Trunking);
  • Configuration of network IP & VoIP systems and tools;
  • Incident Management & Ticket Handling;
  • Escalation management;
  • Service provisioning and de-provisioning;
  • Coordination and Support of field service engineers;
  • Initiation, Tracking & Handling of service delivery orders;
  • Ensure correct documentation;
  • On call duty out of office time;

Requirements:

  • Language: good German & English;
  • Experience in telecommunication and Business Customer network environments;
  • 1+ year(s) working experience in related branch;
  • Understanding the different types of fixed networks' technologies. (DSL, Ethernet, Fiber...etc);
  • Technical know-how related to Cisco, Juniper, OneAccess;
  • Understanding of IP Routing and Switching, MPLS, IPsec , QoS;
  • Understanding of the VoIP environments, SIP trunking is an advantage;
  • CCNA or JNCIA Junos or equivalent is an advantage;
  • Good team work spirit and passion for Network technologies;
  • Independent working and self-learning;
