    NETWORK REGIONAL SERVICE MANAGER

    DESCRIPTION
     
    The Network Project and Governance (NPG) team is responsible to quickly deliver Network Projects, ensuring the integrity, compliance and security of all initiatives executed in the Network space. The Network Regional Service Management team is part of the organization, acting as the service extension in the different regions.
     
    Network RSM Role & Responsibilities
     
    The role requires a passionate leader who will drive executional excellence in overseeing and being part of projects involving P&G’s global network infrastructure. Role will work closely with external partners, GBS key stakeholders and ESDL/ITOT leaders in-region and provide a deeper level of infrastructure expertise acting as the “Network Expert” in the successful completion of key technology initiatives for P&G.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Consultancy Request:
    Requirement gathering- Provide simple consultancy- Engage Engineering/L3.
    • Template Project(100% follows template)
    Requirement gathering- Select applicable template- Fill-in config parameters- Approve BoM- Review CaaS configuration
    • Client Requested Project:
    Requirement gathering- Final COSO/Config review
    • Project
    Requirement gathering- Final COSO/Config review
    • Exception Project (Innovation Prod Pilot/New Product)
    Requirement gathering- Final COSO/Config review

     

    CLIENT ENGAGEMENT - REQUIREMENT GATHERING

    • Collect business needs and planned projects for the region, partnering with the different stakeholder to gain visibility over future Network-related projects;
    • Act as the go-to person when it comes to the Network service in the region providing guidance to the regional stakeholders on network standards, strategy and processes (from engagement to change management);
    • Works closely with Engineering sharing business need either requirements expressed by the Client or needs proactively identified by the Network RSM.
    • Partners with the RSDMs to gain visibility over business needs/projects, sharing service strategy and plans;
    • Participates in the Capacity Management process, validating business needs and providing prioritization;
    • Governance: Monthly review of regional transport / billing report

    TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

    • Detects opportunities to develop the technical mastery amongst the stakeholders/regions, working closely with Engineering to address them.
    • Work closely with Risk Management and Process Improvement, supporting any regional initiatives;
    • Ensures Network-project templates are applied, detecting opportunities to develop new templates
    • Review changes as requested by the Network Project Change Leader.
    • Contributes to the objectives of the Network RSM Community of Practice (CoP), actively sharing learnings than can result in the improvement of existing processes;
    • Acts as Network RSM for regional and global Network projects providing technical & client knowledge.

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • Support Projects with Regional focus working closely with RPMs and the remainder project team.
    • Acts as Project Manager for regional and global Network projects, accountable for full delivery of the network scope;

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Skill requirements
    • Strong Technical aptitude working across multiple IT areas (application, Infrastructure, etc).
    • Demonstrated skill in large scale technical problem solving. A strong critical thinker.
    • Strong Project Management and experience working with multiple stakeholders across different business lines.
    • Clear communicator (written and verbal).
    • Develops and mentors others (especially technical mentorship) in P&G and our suppliers.
    • Not afraid to push to do the right thing in high stakes environments.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Technical experience with global network architectures.
    • Experience in IT Operations for large scale, global environments is a plus.
