About the project
Within Bosch we are segmenting our worldwide IT network with various network security technologies to protect our IT assets. To ensure compliance to our IT security guidelines, we are searching for a “Network Security Compliance Engineer”, who supports us evaluating customer change requests as well as the verification of existing configurations of firewalls and proxies. You will get to know customer application architectures and evaluate these against our IT security policies. In addition, you will contribute to our configuration lifecycle management for our network security policies on firewalls and web proxies. Following up on legacy firewall rules and proxy configurations is an important task to keep the configuration up to date.
You will work in an interdisciplinary and international team supported by other internal service providers.

Your daily tasks will include :
• Compliance assessment of customer change requests for firewall/proxy policies
• Lifecycle processes: recertification, clean up unused & non-compliant entries in firewall/proxy policies
Technologies/Tools used: firewalls Fortinet, Cisco, web proxy, software-defined networking (SDN), Cisco ACI / DNA, Tufin, SQL, Jira Track & Release, MS Office
Your responsibilities
- Define, implement, test our processes, automation workflows and tools to manage our firewall-based, ACL-based, contract-based, tag-based, identity-based or proxy policies and provide input for our internal software development and automation teams
- Define and execute policy lifecycle processes: recertification, clean up unused & non-compliant entries in our network security policies
- Define and execute processes to support IT security compliance checks
- Review of firewall / proxy policies
- Test our processes, automation workflows and tools
- Implementing Bosch IT standard in every day work
Our requirements
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network security technologies in large enterprise, multi-data center, hybrid environments
- 1+ years of experience in network policy automation with Tufin
- Good level knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux security, remote access technologies, forward and reverse proxy solution, authentication and key management technologies, public cloud security technologies
- Understanding of risks that can manifest in larger scale complex systems
- Experience with customer-facing activities as well as security and network consulting
- Proven technical networking skills including TCP/IP routing, firewall, public & private cloud technologies
- Experience with Python, REST APIs, Graph QL, Postgres/SQL, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Scripting and Coding experience a plus
- Must have excellent written/presentation skills to document standards, policies, and designs
- Able to work independently, with a group in a fast-paced environment
- Very good English skills
- Completed degree (Bachelor or Master) with a focus in information technology (Computer Science etc.)
