In this role you will focus on network and network security engineering tasks for TSS team. Product and services portfolio includes Palo Alto firewall and intrusion management technologies, proxies technology, Zscaler and Bluecoat cloud proxy services, F5 Load Balancing products.

Role overview:

  • Collaborate directly with Architecture/Solutions Engineering and other technical and non-technical partners in the design, testing, integration, and implementation of cloud-based solutions
  • Test and implement standards/design patterns to ensure compatibility and integration in cloud environments
  • Identify, test, and implement enhancements and automation capabilities for data migrations, security standard methodologies, environment builds, and operational management standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of technology principles, practices, and procedures
  • As a technical expert, provide guidance and make recommendations on changes required throughout the design, testing, and implementation process
  • Work with management, architects, and engineers to develop artifacts
  • Self-manage in a way that allows flexibility to support multiple projects at an any given time
  • Support the development of a structured, standardized, and consolidated set of services that optimally support business processes and applications

You offer: 

  • You are a self-motivated, action and results-oriented data network specialist with strong problem-solving-skills
  • You have facility to push things forward, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
  • You posses 8+ years of experience in technical Engineering in Data and Security Network products
  • You have industry recognized qualifications (e.g. CCNP R&S/Security or PaloAlto PCNSE or F5-CA)
  • You present knowledge of application deployment and data migration on Azure
  • You have expertise in DevOps automation, terraform scripting, and infrastructure as code using PowerShell DSC , etc.
  • You demonstrate a deep understanding of all key technologies in Networks Security including LAN, Firewall, Intrusion Management, Load balancer and web proxy technologies
  • You have wide knowledge of Palo Alto and F5 security products and services
  • You have knowledge of Windows/Linux, and related tools
  • You have working knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • You have experience with Splunk
  • You have strong operational and/ or consultancy experience
  • You have very good technical skills in the supported area
  • You are self-contained, dedicated and resilient, good interactive skills, good team worker
  • You possess the ability to engage with and provide clear communication with senior management
  • The level of your written and spoken English is advanced or proficient
