Your responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to a cross-functional team to develop a product production launch and control all functions involved in this NPI process.
- Ensure the necessary resources are in place to support the NPI program.
- Oversee all functions involved in the NPI process.
- Communicate and coordinate all NPI program activities.
- Establish program performance, quality, cost, and investment and timeline targets.
- Ensure the NPI program meets all goal requirements for product quality, program cost, and budget and customer satisfaction.
- Execute the NPI Requirements Management Process and implement a gateway review process.
- Prepare gateway review material; conduct gateway review and capture & communicate gateway decisions.
- Evaluate and communicate NPI program status to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Identify critical customer requirements and technical specifications; shorten resolution times; achieve manufacturability; assure process conformance; and determine, justify and monitor capital investments.
- Address and resolve all technical, cost, manufacturing and material problems. Look for alternatives and solutions, and assign appropriate resources to execute the resolution plans.
- Develop plans based on risk assessment and take actions to ensure successful product introduction.
- Manage the product cost roadmap prior to production release; analyze product cost and manufacturing cost models to drive corrective action as required to achieve product cost targets.
Our requirements
- University degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience on similar position or as area manager or manufacturing engineer.
- KPI focused.
- Experience with NPI process.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong engineering knowledge.
- English is a must.
