Your responsibilities
- Ensure that regional offshore Service organizations get engineering support on high level
- Responsible for handling mechanical related technical issues that are escalated from the Fleet Support or Service e.g. component inspection reports, defects on gearboxes, main bearings, other mechanical components and hydraulics
- Create technical knowledge towards stakeholders and customers by demonstrating sound operations engineering expertise. Taking part in customer or supplier meetings
- Own the preparation of the material needed to initiate an improvement case and participate in RCA by utilizing the in depth knowledge regarding mechanical attitude train technology and Operations' processes
- Evaluate business cases on technical issues and leverage that towards optimizing technical recommendations
Employer requirements
- Bachelor/Master´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable discipline
- Experience on large gearboxes and bearings, ideally within Wind industry
- Commercial mindset and ability to interact directly with customers
- Ability to communicate clearly in English language, verbally and in writing
- Skilled technical and innovative skills for root cause failure
- analysis and problem solving
- Structured, self-innovative, takes initiative and ownership
- Highly self-motivated and results orientated candidate able to become part of a competence team

Offshore Engineering NCE team is responsible to support regional offshore Service and Construction organisations with technical knowledge to install and operate Vestas WTGs favourably. The Offshore Engineering team consists of 6 highly experienced and committed employees located in Aarhus and Videbæk, Denmark.
Additional Information
Work location: Szczecin. Home office 2 days per week is possible.
