Your responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing Operational Excellence and Automation support to EMEA BSO leadership team and operations through a team of experts in Business Process Excellence and Process Automation

  • Lead the strategic Operational Excellence BSO programs (Process improvement, Improve by Kaizen, Maturity Model, Automation, RPA)

  • Identify potential quality, service, and productivity improvements throughout the organization to streamline and optimize BSO processes

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the Business Process Excellence and Process Automation teams, prioritize, set goals and key objectives, motivate and ensure delivery

  • Lead and mentor own process improvement projects

  • Manage a detailed project/programme plan to track progress and perform risk management to minimize projects risks

  • Ensure alignment of the process improvement initiatives with strategic objectives

  • Support BSO Transitions and Transformations by following the Operational Excellence methodology

  • Manage, develop and grow the team

  • Responsible for managing internal stakeholders’ expectations and development of relationships to maximize value from delivered initiatives

  • Observe the global guidelines and collaborate across geographies with Operational Excellence teams located in other regions

Our requirements

  • Previous experience of working in an agile environment, using Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)

  • Exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at every level of the organization, including top management

  • In-depth knowledge of BSO processes (organization structure, business functions, processes, goals, metrics etc.), preferably in a F&A context

  • Effective leadership and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of process improvement, change management and project management methodologies

  • Understanding of automation and robotics projects in a BSO environment

  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to see broader picture

  • Ability to work under time pressure, prioritize, set and execute deadlines

  • Self-motivated, execution oriented, dynamic entrepreneurial with out of the box thinking

  • Fluent in English

Job Summary:

Operational Excellence EMEA Interim Lead will guide the team of experts in Business Process Excellence, Process Automations and Robotics and drive the Continuous Improvement culture within the organization. Through collaboration with top management of the company, this person will understand the business needs and develop a strategy driven by an Operational Excellence and Automation approach. He/she will partner with the business leaders not only in Business as Usual but also to support Transitions and Transformations and drive impactful outcomes which develop the Operational maturity of the organization.
