Your responsibilities
The role is intended to support operational tax processes and controls.
Perform first line process and controls for extra territorial taxes (i.e. Stamp duty, transactional taxes, etc.) and withholding tax regimes.
Reconciliation of General Ledger tax accounts
Reconciliation of payments of transaction taxes, stamp duty and breaks investigation
Reconciliation and preparation of relevant regulatory reporting
Reconciliation and processing of tax refunds/tax payments
Creation and/or modification of existing reconciliation processes as needed to keep in line with tax regimes/rules changes
Your responsibilities include maintaining operational and control documentations.
Our requirements
Proven track record of 2 years in a financial role, preferably with practical tax experience and practical financial products experience would be advantageous
Understanding of Asset Servicing, trade cycles, settlements and IB products
A University Degree in a relevant subject (Taxes, Accounting, Finance)
Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills combined with strong problem solving, attention to details
Strong and proven reconciliation skills supported by relevant experience and excellent computer skills (especially Excel)
Drive and energy to proactively build solutions for complex issues
Ability to manage work independently, meet tight deadlines and to manage work under pressure
