Your responsibilities

  • The role is intended to support operational tax processes and controls.

  • Perform first line process and controls for extra territorial taxes (i.e. Stamp duty, transactional taxes, etc.) and withholding tax regimes.

  • Reconciliation of General Ledger tax accounts

  • Reconciliation of payments of transaction taxes, stamp duty and breaks investigation

  • Reconciliation and preparation of relevant regulatory reporting

  • Reconciliation and processing of tax refunds/tax payments

  • Creation and/or modification of existing reconciliation processes as needed to keep in line with tax regimes/rules changes

  • Your responsibilities include maintaining operational and control documentations.

Our requirements

  • Proven track record of 2 years in a financial role, preferably with practical tax experience and practical financial products experience would be advantageous

  • Understanding of Asset Servicing, trade cycles, settlements and IB products

  • A University Degree in a relevant subject (Taxes, Accounting, Finance)

  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills combined with strong problem solving, attention to details

  • Strong and proven reconciliation skills supported by relevant experience and excellent computer skills (especially Excel)

  • Drive and energy to proactively build solutions for complex issues

  • Ability to manage work independently, meet tight deadlines and to manage work under pressure
