Understand growth strategy, goals, commitments, policies, and struggle points of accounts - primary & backup.
Accept, build, schedule and track all customer shipments from point A to Z, including all pertinent information and documentation.
Prioritize and communicate internally and externally in an effective and professional manner using the appropriate method of communication.
Develop strong relationships with customer planners, logistics teams, facilities as well as 4PL managed carriers
Provide customers with spot rates and understand how to calculate associated costs.
Supporting the customer with complaints an associated resolution (Including root causing).
Be an idea generator- Suggest ways and methods to optimize the customers supply chain to foster cost savings or cost avoidance.
Communication – Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with the ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders at all levels
Problem Solving – Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude; self-motivated, Attention to detail, “think out of the box” mentality
Organization – Strong organizational & prioritization skills
Continuous Improvement - identifying, analysing, and improving operational processes to optimize performance and ultimately enhance the end user experience
Team Player- Comfortable with change and excellent team player;
Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems
Ability to speak English fluently
Additional language proficiency/fluency is a plus, but not essential.
Customer service, and/or operations experience within the logistics and transport industry. Knowledge of LEAN or other process improvement methodologies.
Good understand and experience of the 4PL logistics industry (2-3 years of experience) and how a 4PL concept fits within the supply chain
Comfortable with establishing processes and implementing them alongside the IT Team
Identify gaps in day to day operation as well as in process.
Strong presentation and Analytical skills (Great use or Excel and Power point)
