Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

Key responsibilities
  • Preparation of year-end audit files accordingly to the written procedures
  • Very detailed review of work delivered by local bookkeeper (e.g. tax returns)
  • Perform monthly and quarterly tasks in line with procedures
  • Being first point of contact for local bookkeeper and external auditor
  • Perform a detailed review of both B/S and P/L accounts for errors, omissions or inconsistencies
  • Manage the relationship with the business counterpart and local bookkeeper
  • Ensuring effective communication within the business counterpart to address all issues and lead resolution actions
  • Taking full responsibility for timely preparation of all deliverables related to allocated Entities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications
 
  • Fluent English
  • Master degree in accountancy or shared service experience is a plus
  • Audit experience will be an asset
  • Highly developed analytical skills and ability to work within a problem solving environment
  • Ability to execute tasks from the counter party
  • Experience in preparation and/or review of financial statements
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages will be an asset
  • MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle)
  • Ability to follow written procedures very precisely
  • Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year end closing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
