Your responsibilities

  • Effectively represent Amazon as a spokesperson

  • Develop and execute external communications programs, working with national and local media outlets across Poland

  • Successfully manage complex communications challenges

  • Build and maintain relationships with key media

  • Drive content online and in social media

  • Manage a busy press office

  • Developing communications plans including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

  • Develop relationships with both local and national media outlets.

  • Builds and manages relationships with vendors, event managers, public relations agencies, reporters, editors, and other members of the media.

  • Proposes ideas and decides implementation path.

  • Assists with building communication strategies for Amazon’s business objectives.

  • Creates press releases, fact sheets, talking points and Q&A documents.

  • Resolves day-to-day issues such as responding to reporter inquiries, brand design request, etc.

  • Supports business teams by pitching products, trends, story angles – helps to execute implementation.

  • Responsible for logistical requirements in support of event and sample coordination

  • Act as spokesperson for special internal and external events and company projects.

  • Available to work nights or weekends when needed and to travel [approx. 40% of travel time expected]

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, journalism, business, or related field

  • Proven Public relations experience, including social media channels, content creation, event management and crisis communication

  • Fluent Polish and English skills


  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson (comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews)

  • Copywriting and content creation skills

  • Creativity and the ability to develop fresh concepts for generating media coverage

  • Communications experience with Internet, technology, retail, and/or transportation companies.

  • Experience strategic planning and implementation of projects that support the public relations function.

  • Available to work nights or weekends when needed and to travel [approx. 40% of travel time expected]

We are looking for a media professional to manage press office communications in support of our Fulfillment Network. Based in Warsaw they will be report into the Head of Amazon CEE Communications and will be responsible for all media activity in our Polish Network. This individual must have experience in media relations, writing and reasoning skills and direct experience working on reactive media issues. A good understanding of – and experience in - managing online and social media tools is also important.
