Operations Team Lead - Customer Care

What you will be doing:

Work in the Operations Team can become hectic at times. Because it is difficult to predict when customers call, when jobs land up on the market and when drivers fail to show up at pickup locations, uncertainty reigns daily work routines. Operations Agents need to have strong skills in multitasking and it is difficult for the team to cope with the high level of uncertainty and the low degree of predictability at the same time. The Operations Team Lead intends to structure the work of the Agents, thereby making it easier to set priorities and direct the work of the Operations Team.

What you get to do every day:

  • Shift planning and preparation
  • Monitoring and structuring of workload and assigning roles
  • Checking of technical infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting throughout the shift
  • Monitoring rule adherence and KPIs
  • Answering incoming requests via the available contact channels 
  • Dispatching of rides where the automatic system fails to do
  • Monitoring of upcoming rides
  • Ad-hoc support and help for Operations Agents

Who you are:

  • You have the experience in supervising other employees, incl.:
    •  delegating shift specific responsibilities 
    • training others on the job and provide ad-hoc support 
    • evaluating subordinate effectiveness and efficiency
  • You know how to establish rapport and gain the trust of others   
  • You are skilled in mediating between contending parties or groups
  • You can and know how to perform under the stress of frequent interruptions
  • You are a team player and collaborate well with colleagues
  • You have very good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • You have at last 2 years of experience in a customer service-related function

Nice-to-have:

  • You are fluent in any other language than German and English
  • You are passionate about Tech and Transportation
