Your responsibilities

  • Develop and document process and system training materials, deliver training sessions to key end users to drive improvement in capability for projects and day to day work across the business.

  • Deliver and promote best practices through training and coaching across the various teams to ensure standardization and compliance throughout the EMEA order management processes in Consumer area.

  • Initiate Continuous Improvement and cost savings activities with process and project teams, identify and drive best practices, address gaps in current processes, evaluate the risks and suggest optimized ways of working to improve efficiency and ensure adherence to standardized order management processes. Execute Order Channelling in WE&UK in SAP to maximize cost efficiencies in Order to Delivery Supply Chain process.

  • Analyse complex end to end order management incidents. Take full ownership of all incoming requests, work independently on its analysis. Guide the Supply Chain Order Management teams and wider business in the process to ensure system and process issues are resolved in a timely manner

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders from EMEA Consumer area, DTS business partners and external business partners. Support DTS as required to test business integration for system upgrades to ensure smooth implementation as well as provide support for operational incidents and process queries to ensure limited disruption to business.

  • Initiate and lead high profile projects that are often broad scope/complex and require the management of multiple interdependencies and senior stakeholders.

  • Support the Supply Chain Order Management teams and wider business to ensure system and process issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Ensure the team follows policies and processes by performing quality spot checks, identify the root cause of the findings and, if required, discuss with the Team Leader training needs.

  • Cooperate closely with internal and external auditors. Understand and fulfil all regulations of the internal policies as well as internal control framework, provide analysis as requested by Auditors, Internal Control or Quality Assurance.

  • Take part in different projects outside of regular work responsibilities as order management subject matter expert, provide expertise, collect data, take active part in process analysis and improvement implementation.

  • Run daily/ weekly/monthly reports to support Senior Leaders/ Manager, provide complex data analysis if required.

Our requirements

  • 4 - 5 years of experience in Order Management / Customer Service in FMCG sector / Supply Chain / OTC roles with strong specialized job knowledge

  • Master’s degree

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP is essential as well as an understanding of the end-to-end process implications

  • Thorough knowledge of all MS – Office tools, especially MS Excel

  • Excellent time managements skills, sense of urgency, able to separate urgent and important, able to manage pressured situations

  • Able to use own initiative and to work independently with multiple deadlines/tasks

  • Attention to detail, analytical and high level of accuracy

  • Customer relationship management skills

  • Strong team player with ability to work within the group and to train new team members

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Adaptable/responsive to change

  • Proactive/can-do attitude

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal skills will be essential

  • Project management or previous Lean Six Sigma experience would be an asset

  • Fluent English is essential

Position overview:

The Order Management Senior Subject Matter Expert has an in-depth knowledge of SAP Order to Delivery processes and functionalities. The person will be part of a team that supports issues resolution and system enhancements, and that plays an important role in projects in the area of Supply Chain Order Management. That person will be the main point of contact to provide expertise for process enquiries, operational incidents, supports efforts to drive cost efficiencies, process improvements within EMEA Consumer area. On daily basis the role requires time management skills in order guarantee that requests coming to the team mailbox are addressed in timely manner while managing enhancements and project work.
