Your responsibilities

  • ensure efficient and qualitative PA/PY services delivery in line with the global procedures and local legal requirements

  • support all co-workers in PA/PY related topics

  • supervise monthly payroll and year-end activities

  • support solving problems and independently resolve first level escalations

  • follow-up on the status of outstanding issues

  • recruit competent new co-workers that will fit to the team with the required PA/PY profiles

  • take an active role in coaching and developing PA/PY staff knowledge, skills and competence

  • be responsible for coordination of trainings, keeping high level of motivation and other activities related with team leading

  • be a part of a work environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality

Our requirements

You have passion for working with people and you successfully lead them by example. You have strong knowledge of HR/Payroll environment (with min. 3 years of experience). Communication in English is your strong point and you are eager to use it while cooperating with various partners all over the world. Portuguese language skills will be an asset. You have a service oriented and customer focused background, a strong drive and the ability to take decisions and delegate. You have understanding and passion for IKEA values and want to share it with your team.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA

Personnel Administration/Payroll department delivers HR service to IKEA co-workers in 15 different European countries within the Personnel administration as well as payroll. Human resources also manage legal compliance, maintain files and records, while reducing the administrative workload from HR Units. As a PA/PY Team Leader you will support the PA/PY Service Manager in building up and leading the competent PA and PY teams of IKEA Business Service Center.
