Payroll Analyst with French / Analityk ds. Płac

Position Summary:

The payroll analyst will be responsible to support internal activities with the French payroll in contact with 3rd party providers (ADP). Ensures the generation of the company payroll, including labor distribution records, vacation and sick leave accrual, overtime and withholding status. Meets all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

 

Your Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serves as liaison with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
  • Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc.
  • Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.
  • Verifies compliance with country payroll requirements; stays current with changes in the law.
  • Participate on the improvement of internal processes
  • Review and “sign off” on payroll transactions, including off-cycle checks and exceptions
  • Ensure all company and statutory compliance requirements are met

Your Knowledge and Experience:

  • BS Degree in HR, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • +2 year of specific payroll experience with France Payroll
  • French language speaker
  • English speaker
  • Very good Excel skills (including v-lookup & pivot table) required
