    Payroll and HR Administration Specialist
    Location: Kraków

    HR Payroll and Administration Specialist role’s scope of responsibilities includes providing support to employees and managers of all departments of HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) in close cooperation with the Human Resources Department of HSBC Service Delivery (Polska). Required skills are attention to detail, strong analytical skills, strict maintenance of confidentiality and ability to deal with sensitive data, strong relationship building skills and self-motivation and ability to work under minimal supervision

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Accountable on collecting and preparing payroll data to be processed by Payroll Vendor, checking data and payroll lists to ensure correct amounts of salaries are being paid out
    • Handle various calculations on Salary or Benefits or others as required in day-day tasks
    • Preparing salary confirmation statements
    • Monitoring payroll system and setting up reports on various HR matters.
    • Prepare various type of reports in a timely fashion as required by process or management
    • Having a decision making authority on day-day related BAU tasks and cases of similar nature encountered in the past. However special cases or new types of issues needs to be referred to the supervisor
    • Demonstrating proficient use of systems and procedures and knowledge of the Polish Labour Code.
    • Managing time and prioritizing tasks in order to meet the SLAs.
    • Meeting process performance metrics targets on production, productivity, quality, timeliness as defined for the process.
    • Ensuring that errors / (if any) are identified and escalated in accordance to the procedures in a timely manner.
    • Handling more complicated cases and taking ownership for team’s cases.
    • Ensuring that the agreed volume of work is handled contributing to the achievement of the unit / department / centre performance target.
    • Completing all data requirements (eTCS / timesheets, leave requests, absence requests and ad hoc process information) in a timely manner.
    • Supporting the activities performed by the team and contributing to the team success.
    • Helping Team Leader to build an environment of team work and working together to achieve a common goal.


    • Preferably University degree in HR/ Management/ Economics
    • At least 3 years professional experience in Payroll and HR Administration and fully aware of related aspects in Polish labor laws
    • Knowledge of TETA personnel payroll system will be an asset
    • Experience in salary calculations
    • Computer literacy (MS Office) and fluency in English
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to details
    • Ability to operate in international environment strictly to tight deadlines
    • Work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills
    • Open to seek for required information or clarifications
    • Skilled in multitasking - flexibility to changes and diverse situations
    • Ability to communicate with individuals at levels and from different cultures
