We are on an exciting journey towards expanding our HR Regional Service Centre for Europe in Warsaw. The ambition for the Regional Service Centre is to provide professional HR operational service and guidance to the approx. 4.000 employees working in Novo Nordisk in the different countries in Europe. The askHR Europe unit is the first point of contact for all people inquiries and the team also contributes to the development of new global processes and systems including new digital solutions.
The Regional Service Centre is co-located with the Business Area office for Europe East and the Polish affiliate. With annual budgeted sales level of over 700 million DKK and with 130 employees in the Polish affiliate the company ambition is to continuously improve quality of patients’ life and bring innovation into the markets.

Payroll & Benefits Operations Specialist with GermanNumer ref.: 134665
As a Payroll & Benefit Operations Specialist you will be based in Warsaw, Poland and work in our department of Payroll & Benefits Operations Europe, where you will be providing professional payroll and benefits services to Line of Business in Europe, while reporting to Payroll & Benefits Operations Lead. You will be responsible for coordination of pre-payroll and payroll processes while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll and remuneration to Novo Nordisk employees. Your role will also be to share your expertise in payroll and train junior colleagues.

- Coordinate the payroll processes for assigned countries – Germany and Switzerland
- Collect data to prepare payroll
- Support local HR team
- Ensure payroll compliance with local and legal standards
- Produce salary payments
- Response to payroll queries raised by HR and/or employees
- Optimise payroll operational processes and services
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

- 2 years of experience in payroll management ideally in a Shared Service Center
- Understanding of payroll processes in Germany (strongly desired) and potentially other German speaking countries
- Experience in complex payroll operations environment, hands on expertise and expert knowledge within payroll for one or multiple countries
- Fluency in German and English languages (written and spoken is a must, additional language is a plus)
- Previous experience being involved in payroll related projects (transition) and accounting experience will be considered as an advantage
- University diploma
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player
