Your responsibilities

  • Take care of assigned payroll activities in a timely accurate and efficient manner in line with local legislative requirements.

  • Be responsible for end-to-end payroll process.

  • Completing and verifying input and output data (data accuracy, reconciliation of payroll reports prior to transmission to processing and payment).

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in proper taxation of employer paid benefits.

  • Coordinate and ensure effective and timely flow of information between all relevant stakeholders.

  • Follow up on administrative details that includes handling confidential and sensitive information that pertains to employee sensitive personal data.

  • Manage employee queries related to payroll and act as a first point of contact for all payroll related issues.

Our requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Polish payroll with a strong understanding of best practice around controls, regulations and tax compliance.

  • Degree in HR/finance/accounting would be an asset.

  • Working knowledge of payroll calculation rules and Polish Labour Code.

  • Very good Excel skills (practical usage of various functions i.e. pivot tables, formulas, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks whilst working towards strict deadlines.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders and handle confidential information in professional manner.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
