For our Client, a stable company at the market, and the leader in its field, we are looking for a candidates for the positions of Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for End to End payroll process for European Countries (Norway or Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Luxemburg) or Asia (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan) in an in-house payroll processing or outsourced to local vendor & be part of the global payroll transformation project.  Payroll Team manages or directly runs the accurate and timely payments for over 13,000 employees in over 60 countries.

your tasks

  • reviewing and controlling Process all payroll related payments to employees, Tax Authorities and Social Security Office
  • compliance & Employee Support
  • process all payroll related journal entries into the general ledger
  • prepare monthly tax returns for wage taxes
  • dingle point of contact for the business partners (i.e. - HR and Finance)
  • financial Analysis and planning: able to calculate impacts of law changes in term of social security, benefits, tax wages
  • ad hoc support with a huge transformation project of Payroll system and process as well as change of input system (change from home grown HR system to Workday).

what we expect

  • bachelor’s degree and at least 3+ years of payroll experience with multi country support or equivalent experience in the areas of customer service, human resources, benefits administration, financial institution, application support or other relevant work experience
  • professional written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent Russian in case of Asia payroll specialist)
  • intermediate to advanced level Excel skills including the ability to manipulate data accurately and the ability to create meaningful reports
  • experience at turning raw data into meaningful reports for different audiences
  • experience at being part of the project team or leading the payroll related improvement projects
  • experience at being part of the payroll improvement projects
  • excellent organizational and time management skills; Attention to detail
  • must possess critical thinking skills and enjoy problem solving
  • a comfort level with change, the ability to adapt to change and the ability to recover quickly from adversity
  • experience with payroll system (SAP/ADPGV ideal) and Workday (HR system), Oracle
  • experience in payroll for Sweden, Norway Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg or Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijanis a huge plus
  • system integration support experience is a huge plus
  • proactiveness and teamwork disposition
  • eager to learn new processes and be part of the improvement projects
